I just returned from ASLE in Moscow, ID. Aside from the overwhelming heat and frightening dorm room situation, it was wonderful and exciting and I am feeling inspired now. So I thought I would try keeping up with this page as an actual blog where I can write about some of my research and teaching going into the future. I have writing projects to read for and develop this summer and new classes to teach in the fall, so I hope I will discover interesting things to say.
In the meantime, this is just a warm-up post and a hello to anyone who happens this way.
